Living in uncertain times. I have been reminded that we as humanity have always lived in uncertain times with a few certainties in life. We are not the first nor the last to live in uncertain times. I do know of a certainty that God wanted to remind me of A few days ago that I wanted to share.
I do not ever write poetry. I just don’t. I don’t even know if this would be considered poetry, but it sounds poetic to me. Here is what I experienced and heard/felt as my spirit, soul and body became quite in the moment:
I can hear God’s whisper in the wind. I feel the pull-the anticipation of something he wants to tell me, share with me. I see the grass slowly grow as the breeze plays in the grass and I listen for the still small voice which I feel is evasive but again isn’t. I hear the tinkle of laughter like that of a little boy and I know he is savoring this quiet moment with me. Outside the storm of all that is within this realm lies a realm of perfect peace in every moment as we slow and breath and listen.
This is for such a time as this. There are times and seasons when we see in the physical the underlying war in the spiritual. Yet, we stand in the fact the war is won, it is finished. But the battles remain for each soul here upon earth and for those to come. The battle is for that and that alone. Faith, belief and trust. Those are the commodities that are truly being fought over-each soul precious in his/her creator’s site.

God wants me to trust him in the midst of the storm and call out what I hear from heaven being proclaimed. This is prayer, simple and childlike.
““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”
John 3:16-17 NASB
