Has James 2:17:

Thus, faith by itself, unaccompanied by actions, is dead.  But someone will say that you have faith and I have actions. Show me this faith of yours without the actions, and I will show you my faith by my actions!” (2:17-18 NASB)

ever been pointed at you by the church leadership to make sure you are carefully choosing what you are doing and not doing…otherwise you really don’t have faith?  Without correct behavior then you are not really following Jesus? Or to point out that actions are extremely important to each believer? Are you tired of performing?  Have you ever felt condemned or ashamed when hearing this scripture?

I have had this pointed out, believed within my core beliefs all of the above and with that felt great shame and condemnation.  Now, I have learned something fascinating about this scripture and share it within Chapter 10 of Time To Really Live Free.

It is time for the church people to live exactly where God intended them to.  Join me on this adventure and pick up your copy, if you haven’t, below.

May God fill you with his understanding, truth, great hope and love, Darlene
