The title reminds me of an old song with the verse, “What does love got to do with it?”. Why you may ask? Because the law, while living in Christ, has nothing to do with ‘it’ anymore. Because we now have something better…God living in us. For more you will want to read The Door Is Open.
Legalism, the law, will never be able to do what God is able to do within us.
This quote is in the last paragraph of the last chapter in the book (page 111). This pretty much sums up the book.
The church for so many hundreds of years has taught the importance of the law which is not what the first disciples taught at all.
