What This Is
Not a book club. Not a bookstore.
A Saturday- a room where writers are with their books and readers get to talk to them.
You walk the aisles, you find a book, you meet the person who made it
And the authors keep every dollar they take at the table.
For Readers
• Free or low-cost to walk in (need to find out costs of venue)
• All genres — novels, memoir, faith, history, kids, poetry, the odd book that does not fit a shelf. Indie Authors 🎉
• Signed copies, short conversations, a room that is not a convention floor but is home
• Kids welcome
• What to bring: curiosity and a tote. Cash and cards — authors will run their own sales.
For Authors
What’s included
• One 6-foot table
• One chair per author (if you need extra for help-please see ‘extra furniture’)
• Your name in the author list
• You keep 100% of book sales
What you bring
• Books, a banner, a card reader
• Stay inside your table space
• Extra furniture only if we say yes first
Fee
• Early: $75
• Two Authors: $60 (each)
• Standard: $100
You handle your own sales tax and card reader. We handle the room, the insurance, and the crowd.
Who we’re looking for:
Local and regional authors with finished, saleable books. Every genre. Hybrid and traditional welcome. This is not a pitch-to-agents day.
